View, Share and Compare All Your Weather Data .... Access Real-Time Data Anywhere & Anytime:
Do I need to pay a subscription?
No! The WeatherLink.com portal is completely free to sign up to, and view your weather data, download the free app for Android and iOS to view your weather data anywhere. By upgrading to the “Pro tier” historical data can be accessed and graphed- there is a small subscription for this service- currently $3.95/month (July19)
Do I still need an LCD console/display?
The WeatherLink live box receives the wireless signals directly from the Davis Sensor suites (Vantage Vue and Vantage Pro2), remote sensor transmitters, and leaf/soil moisture stations, so it is not necessary to have an indoor console display unit, however, the console will still work so can be used in conjunction with a WeatherLink Live if required.
My office where the internet connection is located is further than 300m from the weatherstation.
There are a few options here;
If the WiFi signal reaches to a suitable location within the 300m from the weatherstation, then the Weatherlink Live box can be located there, alternatively, can a network cable be installed between the location of the Weatherlink Live box and the internet router?
Davis repeaters can be used to boost the signal from the Weatherstation back to the location of the Weatherlink Live box (300m per repeater)
If the weatherstation is in a remote location with no internet access then a Vantage Connect should be used to send the weather data over the cellular (mobile phone) network- contact us for more information.
